Hi, my name is Chris Gilbert, I write poetry as one of my hobbies, sometimes I can do it....sometimes I can't. I have written poems for some of the best and worst times of my life. Each poem means something to me and was written about something or someone. I do not reveal the names of people specific poems are about...but i hope other people will appreciate my poetry and understand it from their own experiences and points of view. I have had some wonderful comments in my guestbook, and some publications in anthologies (3 so far). Some of my work can also be found on www.poetry.com |

I hope you enjoy your stay here...you will find my later work is focussed on difficult times in my life and experiences I have had to deal with......I only wish I could write love poems without being in love :) If you want to know more about me, please email me, or leave a comment in my guestbook...I love to hear from anybody, anywhere in the world. Thanks
for all the support, I REALLY appreciate it. My new poems are more anger
driven, more depressing, I know. The stage I'm going through in my life
drives this stuff....I guess I just haven't met the right girl yet :)
Don't get too worried about me....i don't feel this way all the time,
every day, just sometimes, on some days....there is no hope. I don't know
if anyone else understands that. I have big mood swings, one hour I can
be happier than anything....and the next I feel I have no reason to live.
That's the way it goes. |

Dedicated, to all my friends that I wrote these about. Including Ben, Naomi, Jaime, Holly and Nicole. Many thanks for your inspiration and support. I've redesigned the site a little. New poems are featured on the "New Poems" link. Email: [email protected] with comments, suggestions, and whatever else.
